Sustaining High Quality Education

As an independent school, Orinda Academy relies on more than tuition to provide the best quality-learning environment for our students. 

Our tuition covers approximately 88 percent of the school’s operating expenses, which totals over $2.5 million per year.  While we make every effort to keep our tuition affordable to an able and varied student population, it is imperative that we rely on the generosity of our community to ensure that each student continues to benefit from our program.

Give to Orinda Academy

While other private schools request a donation equivalent to 10 percent of tuition and consider fundraising as part of their income and budget, Orinda Academy is primarily tuition based. Our tuition covers approximately 88 percent of the school’s operating expenses, which totals over $2.5 million per year.

Annual Fund Benefits Students

Orinda Academy students benefit directly from the Annual Fund. It supports financial aid, college workshops, technology, curriculum development, low student to teacher ratio, student activities, academic coaching, Coyote Coast counseling, and athletics. Support Our Unique School

We hope to reach our annual goal of $50,000 in order to enhance the quality of the excellent and unique learning environment we provide. Orinda Academy provides students the opportunity to be successful in an environment where they can grow and thrive. It is critical, now, more than ever, during difficult economic times, to sustain our financially sound non-profit school into the future through an increased endowment and improved fundraising.
