The English Department has chosen the following novels for summer 2012 reading - 

• All high school students must read Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro.  
• Middle school students must read Slam by Walter Dean Myers.    
• The seniors who plan to take AP English should read Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky.

The above works are available in a wide variety of formats (paperback, eBook/Kindle, audiobook, etc.) and students should read or listen to the books in the way that best suits their learning style.  Students should complete the summer reading before school resumes in late August.
