Student Financial Aid
Orinda Academy offers student financial aid based solely on need and awards it on a first-come, first-served basis for new applicants. The school subscribes to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) in Princeton, NJ. SSS requires all interested families to submit specific financial information to determine eligibility.
How To Apply for Financial Aid
To be considered for financial aid, please complete the Parent Financial Statement (PFS). You may request a form from the admissions office, or you may complete the forms online. Orinda Academy's school code number is #5379.
The deadline for submission of the PFS form to SSS for financial assistance in the 2013-14 school year is no later than January 17th, 2013.
(We would appreciate a copy of your PFS form to be sent to our Admissions Office as well).
In addition to completing the PFS form, you must submit a copy of your 2012 federal and state income tax returns including all pages and schedules to the Admissions Office by February 11, 2013.
Divorced or Separated Parents/Guardians
In the case of divorce or separation, the parents/guardians must each complete individual PFS forms and submit their tax returns.
Awarding Financial Aid
Final determination of financial aid dollars rests with Orinda Academy's Financial Aid Committee. Financial aid dollars are subject to the availability of funds and number of financial aid applicants. Notification of award is sent when the applicant is offered an opportunity to enroll. Please be assured that all information is kept in the strictest confidence.
